A ‘Call to Service’
Chasing down bad-guys, running into burning buildings, providing life-saving First-Aid, and protecting our Schools … these are some of the ways that First Responders serve our communities. But for First Responders, the ‘Call to Serve’ persists even when we take off our uniforms at the end of a shift.
The SHPD Benevolent Association allows First Responders another way to Serve our community. As a registered Charitable Organization, the SHPD BA works to collect donations with the goal of offering financial support to Crime Victims, to injured First Responders, and to the Families of First Responders who are suffering a hardship. We also aim to offer support to Community members in-need, whenever possible. We look to serve, 24-7.
It takes a Community
You don’t need to be a First Responder to 'Serve’ our Community. You can HELP US HELP OTHERS ! A donation to the SHPD Benevolent Association will make a huge difference in providing assistance to those affected by crime, and you’ll also be supporting First Responders (and Families) who may be in extraordinary need due to injury, disease, or worse.
We wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important! And as a registered 501(c)(3) organization, your donations are tax deductible.
